Pavel Haas Quartet: "The world's most exciting string quartet?"

pavel haas
Gramophone Magazine has selected the Pavel Haas Quartet for a cover feature, coinciding with the release of their new recording of the Prokofiev string quartets. Gramophone editor James Inverne introduces the feature as follows: "Our cover story is given to perhaps the most exciting young string quartet of our time (and the competition is fierce), the Pavel Haas. I've since heard their latest recording, and the hype is once again justified. Enjoy!" He continues by saying "I wanted to find out more about them. What is this special alchemy that seems to ensure that they hit gold every time?"
