The Sitkovetsky Trio is thrilled to announce that German-Japanese cellist Danjulo Ishizaka will be joining the ensemble with immediate effect.
Winner of the ARD International Music Competition in Munich and the Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann, he was a former BBC New Generation Artist and has firmly established a profile both as an international soloist and chamber musician.  He joins the Trio at an exciting moment in his career, with recent concert highlights including performances with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Konzerthaus Chamber Orchestra Berlin, Cologne Chamber Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  Chamber music performances have taken him to the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Musikverein, Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
His varied and diverse career perfectly reflects the ethos of the Trio, an ensemble with a reputation for its dynamic and committed performances, which brings together three young musicians with a passion for chamber music.
