We are proud to announce that the young Polish Meccore Quartet will be represented by Ivy Artists in the Benelux from 2016-17.

Established in 2007, Meccore String Quartet are considered as one of the most interesting quartets of their generation. In April 2012 they won the 2nd prize at the Wigmore Hall String Quartet Competition in London. The ensemble was also awarded three additional prizes for the best performances of works by J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart and B. Dean.

 In 2011 they were awarded the Finalist Award and the Special Award at the 9th International String Quartet Competition Premio Paolo Borciani in Reggio Emilia. In 2010 the Quartet received the 1st prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Weiden (2nd and 3rd prizes were not awarded), and in 2009 they won the 1st prize at the Max Reger International Chamber Music Competition in Sondershausen.

The Quartet have given performances on major European music festivals, such as Rheingau, Mecklemburg Vorpommern, L. van Beethoven Spring Festival, Budapest Spring, Heidelberg Frühling, Kissinger Sommer, Festival Radio France Montpellier, Bregenzer Festspiele and appeared in many prestigious concert halls, among others Beethovenhaus in Bonn, National Philharmony in Warsaw, Wigmore Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna.

In 2014 the ensemble had the honor to perform as the first Polish String Quartet during the ceremony on Holocaust Remembrance Day in German Bundestag.
