Harriet Krijgh is the new cello-star on the block! She is Dutch, grew up in Holland, but moved to Vienna and studied there with Lilia Schulz Bayrova. She recently won the 1st prize at the Cello Biennale Amsterdam. Coming months she will be back in Holland for a number of concerts. On 15 May she will perform in the small hall of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam together with two other Dutch prize winners. In August she will be back for concerts in Kasteel Duivenvoorde, het Grachtenfestival Amsterdam aan in Thorn. The daily national newspaper NRC Handelsblad recently interviewed Harriet:
