The third week of April pianist Yevgeny Sudbin will be guest with Philippe Herreweghe and de Antwerp based deFilharmonie playing Beethoven's 2nd Piano Concerto. Yevgeny's recoding of the Beethoven Concerto's got amazing reviews. It was Gramophone Editor's Choice, CD of the Week and 5* in The Telegraph and it received 10 out of 10 on ClassicsToday.com. James Inverne of the Gramophone wrote: "Time and again I come away from a Yevgeny Sudbin concert thinking the same thing, that this brilliant young pianist exhibits an infectious hunger for his repertoire. He seems to consume it, occasionally be consumed by it, and his exploration of these concertos seems exactly that, an entirely immersary experience. Thrilling."
