Ivy Artists is one of the leading artists agencies for classical music in the Netherlands, representing a fantastic range of world class musicians and ensembles. We are also in charge of orchestral touring projects and responsibe for running classical music events such as the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht.
Our work is driven by love for classical music. With the dedication to our musicians comes a commitment to the quality which they stand for. Our primairy goal is to provide the best possible environment for musicians to excell. At the same time we provide the best possible service to the venues where our musicians' activities take place. Bringing together these two ingredients we hope to create the ideal setting for an audience to enjoy beautiful music in a perfect atmosphere.
Marjon Koenekoop is owner and director of Ivy Artists. From 1999 - 2005 she was personal manager to the Brodsky Quartet in London. Marjon was in charge of the classical music programme in Music Center Vredenburg in Utrecht from 1993 - 1999 and before that she was head of production at the Holland Festival Early Music for four years.
Marjon is also director at the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht. Together with artistic director Janine Jansen she runs this prestigious festival which anualy takes place in the last weekend of June.
