Isabelle Faust
Isabelle Faust won the first prize at the 1993 Paganini Competition in Genoa and in 1997 she won the prestigious Gramophone Young Artist of the Year Award. Since then she has performed with many large international orchestras such as Münchner Philharmoniker, Orchestre de Paris and the Berliner Philharmoniker led by  famous conductors such as Marek Janowski, Mariss Jansons and Claudio Abbado. Isabelle Faust is familiar with the repertoire from all periods and various composers have written especially for her. She has made several, much applauded, CD recordings and currently she records exclusively for Harmonia Mundi.
